I have been written in Outlook 2003 add-in Visual Studio 2008. It does all this when a message loads when a message is loaded. I am using a setup package to create an MSI to install
I have sorted the issue of Security Caspol I have PIA and VSTO installed on the client. My setup is set to install for all users.
If I install it on the client machine, it creates the HKCU registry hive and works perfectly to install the user and appears in the COM add-ins dialog but does not work For any other user who logs in.
I changed the setup package to keep the registry hive in HKLM and now it does not work for any user, including the installation of the user and this COM add-ins dialog
What am I missing?
New versions of the office do not have that HKCU key Instead, they read this weird composite key under HKCU.
Mischa Senerson has a good article (with updates for 2010)
