I am trying to submit a postScript print job directly to the printer on port 9100. I tried to submit a form directly to the IP and the port, but it contains many header information that clearly spoils it.
Is there a way to do this jQuery or AJAX (or any other word I do not know about)?
Once the websetkett becomes more widespread, you can use those people and send arbitrary data without HTTP overhead / payload, but at present, it is only in the 'bleeding side' browser is .
This means that you are currently stuck using a flash or Java applet.
