I have searched for this topic but can not find the posts I have experienced that I really do I am here.
I have a visual studio solution that I need to work on, it is quite large and has 16 projects.
Everything is so slow and choppy (except for the introduction which is really fast).
On clicking a line in the text editor, the cursor takes approximately 5 seconds to move.
Switching between files ~ 1-2 mins (if I'm lucky)
Clicking on 'Tools' for the drop down menu to display ~ 2 minutes .
If I click on one of the projects correctly, drop down menu 5-10 minutes before. During this time my whole PC is locked.
Video studio off (in anger) ~ 10-20 amin
For debugging and building ... Well I have never managed to get it far away.
Task Manager (it takes a long time to open with explorer Visual Studio) is seeing that there is not much memory / CPU consumption.
I know Microsoft's products are not famous for being faster but it's ridiculous, there is no way I can code anything like this. Nothing should be wrong.
Any help will be appreciated so much, my head is ready to explode.
Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate SP1
Windows 7 x 64
Intel i7 950 @ 3.07GHz
6 GB RAM (Tri channel)
2x Nvidia GTX 470 (SLI)
My mouse also comes louder on the menu is! Menus that have become grayed out, this is fine. But for the active menu, the mouse seems sticky when roaming around them.
Whatever solutions I have made and this works, it disables the rich user experience and disables hardware acceleration.
Tools - & gt; Options - & gt; Environment (normal) - & gt; Visual experience - & gt; Uncheck Use hardware graphics accelerator if available.
I have a good graphic card, but preventing Visual Studio from using graphics hardware makes my mouse smooth.
