I am quite familiar with Python, from system automation and building equipment future; I am a sysadm from business. I recently started a new job in a company that wants to standardize on the Pearl, for which I do not know anyone, I need to speed up speed on Pearl and hope Was that some dragon could point out some useful references on the developers / script which is trying to get the basic information about Pearl. I found out about going to Pearl from Pearl; I need the opposite I bought, but so far it is not able to start reading it. Any input / suggestion?
Crank through Lama (it will be easy) and when you work with that investigation and / Or they will help you avoid mistakes, which were encouraged by all the dirty tutorials written in 1994 that still move around the net.

Please think for a moment that no language is correct, and no language holds "the ultimate truth of programming". As Brooks said, there is no silver bullet. There are some things in Python that are great, there are some things in Pearl that are great, there are some things in Python which are nonsense, there are some things in Pearl which are nonsense.
