sql - How can like 'z%' in eclipse query when 'z' is my parameter -


For example 
  Choose the custname name from the customer, where '% john%' as the custname of  
 
  
 My parameter is the correct name, so in the Query Community Birt report, I use  
  custname from the customer where '%?%' Used as the custName is;   
 But this is a work to do, how can I make this possible? I need help. Can anyone solve this matter?   
 
 
 You enter the wildcard character (% ) in the parameter value.  
 For example  
  - parameter value = "% JOI %%" WHOLE custname name from the customer, select the custName?
