javascript - json.parse doesn't like google maps suggest -

As a JSON object in the Firefox extension: I tried to parse it using JSON.parse and this does not work.

Is there another way of using regex to use it as a JSON object?

  var Xhr_return = JSON.parse (rtoparse);   
 
 Returns: Syntax Error: JSON.parse   
 Other json files in my script without problems.   
 
 
 The URL you are using is not part of Google and therefore subject to change, blockage etc. You really should use the official API. It is being said that, despite the URL containing  json , the result is YAML, not JSON JSON parameter to get JSON result to  a  (rather than  b < / Code>).
