We have a large amount of data in many MySQL databases that are constantly updated with external sources. Is there some software (preferably PHP based) with which we can define the rules of testing against the database, for example regular expressions on the data, frequency of updates, disappearing data etc.) and regularly reporting the check Has something gone wrong or a tendency in the data has changed?
how STFW? For a "MySQL Data Quality" googling (among others) a link
Otherwise, I monitor the data warehousing tool - for example, Oracle Warehouse Builder has some mechanism for data auditing.
Kind regards, Frank
