what is the best way to measure code coverage against a single spec with ruby? -

I usually do rake spec: rcov , but it's all about code coverage Measures.

I would like a way to measure code coverage from a sample so that it can be ensured that the sample of each model is testing the full model rather than relying on side effects in other tests.

Any thoughts?
