licensing - Is Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 compatible with GPL v2+? -


I have received a code that is licensed under (CC-BY 3.0).

I want to choose it and put it in a program which I have got licensed under GPL v2 +.

Then I want to distribute remix work in a software package publicly under GPL 2 v2 + GPL v2 or users have a later version wish)

I I am thinking that this is possible or not. I was already looking for license-compatibility on the GNU website, but it has:

Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 License (aka CC-By)

It is written in the statement that CC-BY 2.0 is incompatible with GPL -
